On Monday, April 10th 2025 I entered the ER.  The doctor told me I can take the bus home because I only had a petit mal seizure where I was staring for a couple of minutes.  My vitals were all good.  I have been battling epilepsy for 8 years.  It started with an ischemic stroke in my frontal lobe caused by APS (antiphospholipid anitbody syndrome; a blood clotting disorder).  I was adamant on not taking medicine but the doctors persuaded me to try it.  I went through more than 14 anti-seizure medications and warfarin.  The seizures were stabilized but the medicine caused behavioral, mental and spiritual negative side effects.  I had night terrors, rage, anxiety, insomnia…I decided to take a step of faith to get off the medicine on Valentine’s Day.  I prayed for God to heal me and I went on a ketogenic diet.  With the prayers of friends, I felt the power of the Holy Spirit warm up my body from my legs to my head on Tuesday.  I slept 11 hours with vivid dreams throughout the night.  I felt alive, renewed and refreshed when I woke up.  I knew God had healed and changed me from the inside out.   I feel happier and  free with God’s way of healing.

I would like patients to have the freedom to choose and ask questions about the medications they consume. When patients have a side effect from one medication, I don’t want doctors to prescribe another medication to ease the symptom. I ended up taking 13 different medications at one time in 2017 because one medication gave me suicidal thoughts then I was given another medication to stop the thoughts. I ended up being numb to the world and I could barely function. I felt like a zombie. I’d rather explore other options such as diets, Chinese herbs, exercise, getting counseling, etc
